John E Wright is a leading supplier of services and supplies to the CAD and graphic design communities in the Midlands. Efficiency of the fleet is key to making sure customers’ requirements are met on time.
The Brief
As the fleet numbers go up and down, John E Wright needed a flexible “pay as you go” tracking solution. The tracking devices need to be reliable but reasonably priced and simple to install as this is to be done in house.
The accuracy of the system and the frequency of positional updates needed to be as good as you can get to ensure the fleet operates as efficiently as possible.
The Outcome
Devices were supplied and installed by one of the FSS engineers originally, but training was given so that John E Wright could then complete the defits and refits when vehicles were swapped at the end of contracts. The platform was branded up for John E Wright as part of the solution and of course, the devices have proven to be exceptionally reliable.
By setting the devices to FSS standard ten second updates, it is easy to know exactly where all of the vehicles are at any time.
