Where vehicles do not meet this minimum standard, operators are required to implement a series of vehicle safety measures which are designed to reduce the risks that HGVs present to vulnerable road users (VRU).
With the addition of a Moving Off Information System (MOIS), the PSS also uses a Blind Spot Information System (BSIS), and a Camera Monitoring System
(CMS) to completely eliminate the blind spot on the nearside of the vehicle.

Drivers are given clear distances by measurement and colour codes (RED, AMBER, GREEN) which are displayed on the cab monitor.

AUDIBLE LEFT TURN ALARM
The Left turn Alarm is fitted to LCV and HGV vehicles to alert pedestrians and cyclists when the vehicle is turning left. Suitable for: Trucks, Coaches, Buses and Rigid bodies.
INTERNAL AUDIBLE “PEDESTRIAN DETECTION” ALARM
This alarm is mainly designed to be housed inside the cab of the vehicle and will provide audible warnings when pedestrians are detected at a reduced volume. The dB level can also be raised via a trigger wire for external use.

4 MINUTE TIMER CUT OUT RELAY
hen fitted, pressing the dash mounted switch will illuminate & silence the Audible Alarm (when being used between the hours of 11:30pm and 7:00am) for 4 minutes.
After 4 minutes or when reverse gear is disengaged the alarm will go back to normal.
BLIND SPOT STICKERS
4 & A3 sized Blind Spot Warning Stickers available in either portrait or landscape versions.
